KEN K
writes and plays contemporary rock music that influences people to feel good, to think about life, and to celebrate love. His guitar-driven style moves through a diverse collection of roots, blues and rock, ranging from acoustic folk ballads to electified rock and roll.
With a huge play list of songs, Ken K weaves and winds his way through a great selection of original and cover material featuring intriguing guitar work, dynamic vocals, and an engaging performance.
Ken K's energy and performance move easily from inspiring instrumentals and captivating ballads to rousing sing- along rock classics. Ken K cultivates a full band sound using live, on-the-fly looping technology – with NO pre-recorded backing tracks. This allows him to layer multiple acoustic and electric guitar sounds, bass and percussion for fresh and unique song renditions.
Ken K is a published songwriter (Highest Vibe Music) and ASCAP member, and his latest CD, "Finding 99", was released in August 2007. It is available on iTunes, amazon.com, CDBaby.com, kenk.com and at live performances.
In addition to playing as a solo act, Ken K also has a fabulous three-piece band (The Vibe) that fills out the sound if the situation calls for it. He is available for club dates, private events, charities/ fund-raisers and concert appearances.
An active musician in the Denver metro and mountain
areas, Ken K has been in regular rotation at notable
venues such as the Morrison Inn, Little Bear, Reivers,
Platte River Grill and The Next Door Bar.
