I've teamed up with my son, Justin, a yoga instructor for Core Power Yoga to offer "live music yoga" sessions. This is a fairly large departure from the typical flutes and ocean breeze new-agey music usually associated with yoga.
Justin offers a challenging and motivating session, that combined with the flow and energy of live guitar music, provides yoga enthusiasts a unique, out of the box way to practice.
The class debuted about 6 weeks ago and is held on Friday nights, 8p at the Colorado Blvd Core Power (about 1/2 mile north of I-25). The class has been met with great enthusiasm and is a standing-room only crowd every week.
If you're into yoga, come on out. You'll enjoy it!

Just like old times, I'll be holding down the patio stage at the Morrison Inn on Sundays in September. No need to wonder... if it's Sunday, I'll be there. After that, summer 2011 is history. Be good to yourself and come out for an afternoon of music, friends, and a damn good time!
